As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect and to say thank you.

This past year marks an important milestone for KAPP. It has been the first full year of operations run as one company, following the acquisition of KAMI Tech Inc., the relaunch of Skaginn 3X under the KAPP brand, and the establishment of KAPP in Norway. Together, these steps have strengthened our ability to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions across industries and markets.

Over the past year, we’ve taken important steps forward:

  • Strengthening our end-to-end portfolio across multiple industries
  • Delivering turnkey projects that simplify operations and improve performance
  • Supporting customers with hands-on expertise, service, and lifecycle thinking
  • Continuing to innovate with a clear focus on quality, yield, efficiency, and reliability

Periods of growth are demanding. They test focus, structure, and priorities. As we look ahead, it is more important than ever that we stay grounded in what defines KAPP: excellent service, practical solutions, and long-term partnerships. Growth only matters if it is built on trust, reliability, and respect for our customers’ operations.

With teams in Iceland, Seattle, Norway, and sales representatives around the world, our reach continues to expand, but our mindset remains the same. We exist to deliver solutions that work in real-world conditions and create lasting value.

Thank you to our customers, partners, and colleagues for the trust, collaboration, and commitment throughout the year. We look forward to continuing the journey together.

Wishing you a safe, restful, and successful year ahead.

KAPP to Exhibit at Seafood Processing Global 2026 in Barcelona

KAPP will exhibit at Seafood Processing Global 2026, taking place 21–23 April 2026 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain. Seafood Processing Global is held alongside Seafood Expo Global, and the 2026 edition has been announced as the largest in the event’s history.

At the event, KAPP will present its broad portfolio of chilling, freezing, and processing solutions for the seafood industry. KAPP’s positioning centers on “Chilling, Freezing and Processing” and on helping customers maximize product quality, increase yield, and improve overall efficiency through advanced refrigeration and food processing solutions.

Visitors to the KAPP booth will learn more about a range of technologies for onboard and onshore seafood operations, as well as for aquaculture applications. These include OptimICE® liquid slurry ice systems, IQF Tunnel Freezers, Non-Pressure Plate Freezers, RoteX solutions, tub handling systems, ValuePump®, and other food processing technologies in the KAPP portfolio.

OptimICE® is designed to rapidly cool fish and maintain a stable, low temperature throughout the cold chain, helping preserve freshness and quality. KAPP’s freezing and processing portfolio also includes systems developed to improve yield, support gentle product handling, and enhance operational efficiency across seafood processing environments.

Seafood Processing Global brings together equipment, packaging, and service suppliers from across the international seafood sector, while the broader event attracts seafood professionals from around the world. For KAPP, the show is an important opportunity to meet customers, partners, and industry professionals in one place and discuss practical solutions for today’s processing challenges.

We look forward to meeting visitors at Booth 3BB401-E in Barcelona and discussing how KAPP can support stronger product quality, better yield, and more efficient operations across the cold chain.
