Freezing & cooling systems

We offer quality freezing and cooling systems in variant sizes. Refrigeration is our specialty, but we have designed, installed and serviced freezing and cooling systems for the largest fishing companies and supermarkets in Iceland for more than a decade. Our focus is on cutting-edge technology integrated into eco-friendly, efficient, and cost-effective systems. Within our offerings of freezing and cooling systems, we include Ammonia systems, Co2 systems, and Glycol systems sourced from leading manufacturers. We work closely with our suppliers in the design and installation of these systems.

Conveyor belts

Ozone Systems

KAPP has been a leader in designing and installation of ozone systems for over 20 years. Ozone has high usability and can for example be used in swimming pools, for deodorizing, for cleaning food processing machines, for increasing the shelf life of food, for sewers and water purification. We can offer various solutions, but one can be seen in the image below. 

Oxygen Generators

We offer a wide range of oxygen generators from AirsSp-Caire, INMATEC and PCi in all sizes. Startup, renewing or expanding, KAPP can offer the right solution. Oxygen devices are available with PSA or VSA technology, cylinder refilling systems also available.

The new pelagic processing plant at LVF

The new pelagic processing plant at LVF in Fáskrúðsfjörður, Iceland is one of the largest pelagic processing plants in Iceland. The processing plant specializes in processing pelagic fish: capelin, herring and mackerel.

The new processing facility boasts the latest technology. KAPP managed the design and installation of the ammonia refrigeration system utilized in the process. The freezer system is specifically engineered to enhance performance while simultaneously reducing environmental impact. This emphasis on environmental responsibility led to the selection of ammonia, known for its powerful yet eco-friendly refrigeration properties.
